Hello Everybody, firstly, apologies for our absence and general lack of activity. We've been jumping through international red tape, pursuing solo careers, moving house, raising children, embarking on fishing excursions... the list goes on. Life admin basically. But the good news is that there has been a McFlurry of activity lately, and we've some exciting news to share with you all.
As you may know the kind folk at End of the Road festival have invited us back for what will be our 5th appearance in as many years. We will be playing in the big top stage on Saturday 11th September at 8pm. For more information and tickets click here.
Our appearance at End of the Road will be our first show for the best part of a year, and not wanting to appear like a rusty bag of snakes we've decided we should probably do a warm up. So we'll be playing at Brighton's Prince Albert on September 1st. Support and all that still to be confirmed but tickets will be available here and also from Rounder Records and Resident Records both of Brighton. To celebrate our live return we will be offering a merchandise lucky dip at both Rounder and Resident. Both shops will be holding a limited amount of stock and each ticket bought will be worth one item of merchandise. Good luck!
We are also in the preliminary stages of working on a new album. As usual various demoing sessions have been taking place in certain rural locations and a handful of tracks have begun to take shape. Plans are now in place and our new album should appear early next year with some touring most likely too.
That's all for now. More news as it comes.
Thanks
BRAKES
